Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55.00–$60.00 per hour
Join Our Team as an RN Supervisor
Staten Island Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. Working closely with the Director of Nursing, the RN Supervisor will help ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, appropriate staffing, and efficient nursing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Assist nursing leadership with oversight of daily clinical operations

Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and standards of care

Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate coverage for each shift

Conduct routine rounds to evaluate resident care and staff performance

Participate in regulatory surveys, inspections, and compliance initiatives

Support care planning, resident assessments, and discharge coordination
-
Oversee medication administration and treatment procedures

Address staff concerns and workplace issues professionally and effectively

Welcome and orient newly admitted residents and their families

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

Provide direct nursing care as needed

Assist with staff evaluations and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
-
Active, unencumbered New York RN license

Minimum of 2 years of nursing home experience required

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Ability to make independent clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
